Important information about biro portrait services

Biro portraits are available as Head and Shoulders or Full Body portraits. This will depend on the reference photograph provided and size of the portrait. They are a more affordable alternative to my colour pencil portraits.

Medium: I use only good quality pens and papers to ensure your portrait will remain rich and vibrant for years to come. For more information, please contact me directly.

Mounting and Framing: All my commissions come mounted in a white mount and framed as standard. I usually used wooden style frames but if you would like an alternative colour we will be able to discuss this prior to booking your portrait.

Completion Date: This will be discussed and agreed between us prior to booking your portrait. Currently my waiting lists are short so portraits will usually be completed relatively quickly but usually within 4 to 6 weeks.

Updates: I will send you updates of the portrait as I work to ensure you are happy with it's progress. If you give me permission, I will also post updates to my social media pages unless it is a surprise gift. I will discuss this with you prior to booking your portrait.

Deposit and Outstanding Balances: Before any work commences, I require a 25% non-refundable deposit. Any outstanding costs will be required before the commission is dispatched or made available for collection.

Postage: Postage starts at £10. I always use Royal Mail, on a first-class signed-for and insured postage. Alternatively, you can collect your commission or I am happy to deliver if you live locally.
